How to become a Tour Leader

Travels with tour groups going abroad from start to finish and makes sure the local travel agency abroad runs the trip as planned.
Main tasks
- Telling tourists the itinerary in advance and explaining what to look out for in the destination country or region
- Accompanying tourists abroad from start to finish and protecting their lawful rights
- Coordinating with and pressing the local agency abroad to deliver the itinerary
- Helping tourists with border formalities, boarding planes and ships, and checking in and collecting luggage
- Reminding tourists to stay safe and taking steps under the rules to prevent danger
- Reminding tourists to uphold national interests and dignity and discouraging them from taking part in activities that break Chinese law or are dangerous
- Reminding tourists to obey local laws and respect local religion, customs and ways of life
- Reporting tourists' difficulties, safety problems or failure to return to the organising travel agency and China's missions abroad, and helping deal with them
- Helping deal with incidents or disputes during the trip
