新築、増築、改築の建築物と都市基盤施設の品質を検査し、建築材料、部材、構造物の品質と使用上の機能を試験する。

主な業務

検査計画を読み取り、検査の手順を決めて、機器と道具を揃える
超音波試験器、アンカー引抜試験機、低ひずみ動的試験機などを用いて、地盤と複合地盤の支持力、アンカーの定着力、杭の支持荷重や杭体の健全性などを検査する
鉄筋探査機、反発硬度計、超音波検査器、引抜試験機などを用いて、コンクリート、モルタル、組積造の強度、鉄筋のかぶり厚さ、プレキャスト部材の構造性能、あと施工アンカーの耐力などを現場で検査する
カーテンウォール試験システムや適合性試験槽などを用いて、カーテンウォールの気密性と水密性、耐風圧変形と層間変位の性能、構造用シーラントの適合性を検査する
超音波探傷器、トルク試験機、万能材料試験機などを用いて、鉄骨構造の溶接、防錆・耐火塗装、接合部、締結部材と高力ボルトの性能、立体トラスの変形などを検査する
ミキサー、試験機、恒温恒湿槽、透水試験機、液性・塑性限界試験器などを用いて、搬入されたセメント、鉄筋、砂利、コンクリート、PC鋼より線、アスファルトなどの材料と部材の立会いサンプリング検査を行い、簡単な土質試験も行う
検査データを分析し、検査結果の報告書を発行する
