Process engineer applies engineering principles and techniques to optimise the production processes in a manufacturing environment to meet organisational objectives. He/she analyses and troubleshoots process engineering, manufacturing and/or maintenance issues and recommends engineering solutions, and develops work instructions for ‘out of control’ processes. He/she leads production and manufacturing systems improvement projects, and develops operation plans in accordance with organisational objectives. He/she also ensures compliance with Workplace Safety and Health, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
