Securities/Finance dealer purchases and sells securities such as stocks, bonds and shares on his/her own account or employer’s account. He/she monitors the performance of the securities traded, assessing their stability or speculative tendencies. He/she calculates the securities prices and places orders.
Main tasks
- Obtaining information about the financial circumstances of companies in which investments may be made
- Analysing market trends for securities, bonds, stocks and other financial instruments, including foreign exchange
- Advising on and participating in the negotiation of terms for, and organisation of, loans and placement of stocks and bonds in the financial market to raise capital for customers
