Door-to-door salespersons sell goods and services from house to house on behalf of manufacturers or businesses.

Main tasks

• Visit existing and potential customers door to door and demonstrate and explain the goods and services on offer
• Record orders and sales, and place orders with suppliers
• Send catalogues, flyers and other material to customers
• Compile lists of potential customers and call on them to sell goods
