Main tasks
- Extract juice from fruit and vegetables
- Extract oil from oilseeds, nuts or fruit
- Cook, pickle or dry fruit, vegetables and related foods
- Mix and add ingredients such as pectin, sugar, spices and vinegar to aid preservation and improve quality, appearance and flavour
- Fill sterile cans, jars or other containers with preserved food
