How to become a Caretaker
Maintains and cleans a residential building, school, office, holiday camp or caravan park and associated grounds.
Main tasks
- Performs general cleaning duties, simple repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ensures security and monitors access to premises
- Inspects and maintains building condition and grounds, and notifies management or owners of the need for major repairs
- Assists with event setup and room preparation
- Manages waste disposal and recycling processes
- Responds to maintenance and cleaning emergencies
