How to become a Singer

Entertains by singing songs.
Main tasks
- Performs songs in a variety of musical styles and genres
- Interprets and conveys the meaning and emotion of songs through vocal performance
- Practices and rehearses songs to ensure accuracy and quality of performance
- Collaborates with musicians and other performers to create cohesive and engaging performances
- Selects appropriate songs and repertoire for specific audiences and venues
- Adapts songs and arrangements to suit personal style and vocal range
- Maintains vocal health and stamina through proper technique and vocal exercises
- May use digital audio workstations that serve as a platform to link electronic instruments and microphones to computers, to record and process vocals
- May use social media platforms to connect with fans and potential collaborators
