How to become a Survey Interviewer

Interviews people and records their responses to survey and market research questions on a range of topics.
Main tasks
- Contacts individuals to gather information in person or by telephone
- Administers questionnaires on an area of interest following a set format
- Records responses to questions on paper or electronically
- Tracks the distribution and collection of questionnaires to addresses, businesses or people
- Communicates the importance of survey participation and explains relevant privacy policies
- May interview people at random in public settings
