How to become a Power Tool Production Operator
Official Chinese title (2022 occupational classification): 电动工具制造工
Also called: Power Tool Stator and Rotor Maker, Power Tool Assembler
Runs automatic winding, dynamic balancing, spot welding, varnish dripping, injection moulding and other specialist equipment and test instruments to make parts for corded, cordless and other power tools and assemble them.
Main tasks
- Making power tool motors with spot welding, varnish dripping, automatic winding, dynamic balancing and motor testing equipment
- Making double insulated structural parts for power tools with injection moulding machines, shaft insulation presses and tooling
- Making housings, bases, working heads, stator insulation and other parts with die casting machines, injection moulding machines and tooling
- Sorting, matching by capacity, charging and testing cells with electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment to make battery packs
- Completing final assembly of power tools on assembly lines with presses, test instruments and fixtures
- Testing finished products on assembly test benches and with test instruments, covering electrical parameters, vibration, withstand voltage, insulation resistance, noise and more
