Produces naphtha, diesel, gas oil and other intermediates as well as petroleum coke or visbroken residue from residue and other heavy oils by thermal reactions.
Main tasks
- Producing petroleum coke and diesel, gas oil, naphtha and other intermediates with coke drums, furnaces, gas compressors, fractionators and absorption and stabilisation equipment
- Mildly cracking residue with reaction towers, furnaces and fractionators to make visbroken residue and light distillates
- Starting up and shutting down units with instruments and control systems, diagnosing and responding to incidents and keeping production safe, clean and continuous
