Public relations/Corporate communications professional plans, develops and evaluates information and communication strategies for clients that create an understanding and a favourable view of businesses and other organisations, their goods and services, and their role in the community. He/she organises publicity campaigns, special events, seminars, competitions and social functions to promote goodwill and favourable public opinion. He/she also writes, edits and arranges for the effective distribution of press releases, newsletters and other public relations material, and addresses individuals, clients and other target groups to enhance the public image of an organisation.
