How to become a Motor Vehicle or Caravan Salesperson
Also called: Motor Vehicle Salesperson
Sells new and used motor cars, motorcycles, trucks, boats, caravans and earthmoving equipment in a retail or wholesale establishment.
Main tasks
- Greets customers and assists them in selecting suitable vehicles or equipment
- Demonstrates the features and benefits of different vehicles or equipment to customers
- Provides information on pricing, financing options and warranties
- Negotiates and finalises sales agreements with customers
- Processes paperwork and arranges for the delivery of vehicles or equipment
