Hotel executive assists with the supervision of the reservations and front desk department and the coordination of training at the individual and departmental level. He/she oversees rooms sale and manages inventory to maximise transient sales. He/she also assists guests on enquiries and ensures that all guest requests are dealt with in a timely and professional manner. He/she ensures procedures are performed to the property’s standards, and assists reservation staff to resolve all guest issues and recommends appropriate measures where required.

- Receiving and welcoming visitors, guests or clients
- Answering inquiries about goods, services, and policies and providing information about their availability, location, price and related issues
- Dealing with telephone requests for information or appointments; and providing advice, information and assistance
- Identifying requirements and entering events into a computer system
- Recording information about enquiries and complaints
